Privacy Policy

This policy explains what tankstarsapp.com collects, why, and what control you have over it. It covers analytics, advertising, cookies and the choices available to you. Effective 18 August 2026.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information. Most of what is described below is standard web measurement and advertising technology, and you can switch much of it off.

Who we are

Tankstarsapp.com publishes guides and documentation about Tank Stars and related Android applications. The site is independent and is not affiliated with CASUAL AZUR GAMES, Playgendary Limited or Google LLC. For any privacy question, contact contact@tankstarsapp.com.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. The measurement code is loaded from googletagmanager.com.

Google Analytics processes your IP address, the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP, your device type, browser and operating system, and the referring site or search that brought you here. Google acts as a data processor for this and may transfer and store the data outside your country, including in the United States.

We use this only in aggregate, to see which guides are useful and which need rewriting. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine analytics data with anything else.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors participating in Google’s network may set their own cookies
• Advertisers do not receive your name, email address or any account information from us, because we do not hold any
• Ad content is selected by the advertising network, not chosen by us, and its appearance here is not an endorsement

Your advertising choices

You can limit or turn off personalised advertising in several places, and they work independently of each other:

• The consent banner on this site, which you can reopen and change at any time
• Your browser’s own cookie controls, including blocking third-party cookies outright

Turning off personalisation does not remove ads. It makes them less relevant.

Cookies

Cookies on this site fall into four groups.

Consent

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set. That covers both the analytics and the advertising groups above. You can decline, and you can change your answer later through the consent banner.

Declining non-essential cookies does not restrict access to anything on this site.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs containing IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, response codes and user agent strings. These exist for security and troubleshooting, are not used for marketing, and are retained on the provider’s normal schedule.

Downloads

Files hosted here are served directly from this domain. Downloading one records the same information as any other page request in the server log. We do not attach an identifier to a download or track what you do with a file afterwards.

External links

We link out to Google Play, to emulator vendors and to other third-party sites. Once you follow one of those links you are subject to that site’s privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over what they collect.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no account records, most requests concern data held by Google as a processor, and we will point you to the right control or handle the request where we can.

Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the period configured in Google Analytics. Server logs are kept on the hosting provider’s schedule. Emails you send us are kept only for as long as needed to deal with the matter you raised.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when the technology on the site changes, and the effective date at the top changes with it. If we add or remove a third-party service, this policy is updated at the same time rather than afterwards.

All logo images and media related to Tank Stars are the property of their respective brand and are displayed solely for educational purposes. Tankstarsapp.com complies with 17 U.S.C. § 512 and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe any content infringes your copyright, please contact us, and we will promptly remove it.
